The CU 4010 Central Unit is a microprocessor based unit designed for the CDS 4000 Conference Discussion System.

It is used as the basic control unit, when a fully automatic system is required, or as a power supply, when computer control or external control is required. Up to ten CU 4010 units can be linked for controlling up to 1000 microphones.

The CU 4010 includes an amplifier for conference units with built-in loudspeakers. All series 4000 conference units can be connected to the CU 4010 to form a complete
Conference Discussion System.

CU 4010 features:

CONTROL  UP TO 1000 MICROPHONES
Control of up to 1000 of all series 4000 microphones by linking up to ten CU 4010 units.

EXTERNAL CONTROL POSSIBLE
RS232/RS422 connection for PC, Room Control Systems as AMX, Crestron or other control devices.

MULTI MODES OF OPERATION
Automatic and FIFO operation as stand alone. Further Manual or any custom required operation when controlled from the MC 4000 Microphone Control or PC.

VOLUME CONTROLS
Volume Controls for Conference Units loudspeaker level and External Input level.

LCD DISPLAY
Alphanumeric LCD Display for displaying the actual mode, number of conference units, etc.

INPUT/OUTPUT´s
for a variety of external devices such as interpretation equipment, telephone coupler, tape recorder, etc.

TEST FUNCTION
Automatic test program built-in for testing the system and the individual conference units

PROGRAMMING
Menu guided programming of number of speakers, number of requests, operation mode.

UP TO 10 CHAIRMAN UNITS
may be connected anywhere in the daisy chain. One CU 4005 can control up to 50 conference units whereas one CU 4010 can control up to 100 units. Otherwise the two units are identical.
